Does Love Just Happen, Or is it Planned?

I would have to say that’s an interesting concept when you get right down to it. I suppose, the argument would have the same amount of weight — no matter which side you choose. To examine the deeper elements of a question like that — One would initially have to draw perspective before answering, right?. Will the response be deeply philosophical? Will your reply have a spiritual connection to it?  Inflated with hurt and pain?

Who’s to say. The moment we find ourselves on the slippery path to  love, I imagine that’s the last thing on one’s mind — how it happened. Nevertheless, this is an opinion based topic, so let the TableforJones do just that. Our take on this, leads us to believe that Love just happens.

The Premise of Love

The premise of Love is so free and native to our existence. Its boundaries are limitless and its feeling simply could last a lifetime. Even when someone we loved walks away — we are left with the memories of that experience. It never leaves us. Does Love just happen, or is it planned?

Again, We say it just happens. Who could plan for something so splendid?

I recognize that we all have our types. This to mean, the type of person we made up in our minds that we should be with. The guy with the right height. The woman with the right weight. The right color eyes. The right job. Shoot, this list could go on forever. Since we don’t have time for that, I would like for you to consider something. If this never happened to you, then obviously it won’t apply. We still love you as a dear reader. But on the other hand, if this applies to you, you will know right away.

Ever decided to go out on a date with someone you weren’t checking for? Perhaps this person was being a pest? Or better yet, was just being persistent. So you said yes to a date, thinking this would be a one and done. Turns out, even though not your type — this person suddenly becomes interesting. Have a conversation?. Hold your attention? Heck, minus the wrapping has all the other components you desire in a person of interest. That one date, turns into two and then two into three and so on and so on. Before you know, you catch feelings. Or being an adult, you have found yourself falling in love with a person. That ever happened to you? It’s not crazy of a notion. It happened to Janet Jackson and Tupac in Poetic Justice.

It happened to Halle Berry and Joseph Phillips in Strictly Business. It even happened to Christina Milian and Nick Cannon in Love Don’t cost a thing. Yes, I know these are all movies and aren’t reflective of real life. But then again..is it really fiction? We don’t know each of you, but I’m sure someone out there can relate to this sort of happening.

And if so, there’s the proof we need to Love Just Happens. And believe it or not, it’s certainly the best way to get there too.
